The Ministry of Unification and the CCC hold a 'DMZ Peace Road' event
The Korean Peninsula Unification Future Center of the National Unification Education Center of the Ministry of Unification invited more than 100 foreign and domestic university students from the 27th to the 29th of last month to hold a peace step event on the Korean Peninsula.
The event, which was held to mark the 80th anniversary of liberation, was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Unification and the Korean University Student Mission (CCC).
The event was attended by 41 foreign students from nine countries, including △UK △Canada △Philippines, and Indonesia, as well as 60 domestic university students.
The program consisted of △walking the path of peace in the Yeoncheon Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) △a tour of the Odusan Unification Observatory.
Jeremy Wayne Ramus, a student from the Philippines, said, "It was physically difficult, but I am grateful to be able to stand together for peace on the land, and I have come to understand inter-Korean relations more deeply."
